Paramore-Self titled album review

Hiya guys! Paramore are one of  my favourite bands  and I got to see them live and it was an amazing  night and one of my favourite  concerts!

So a while back they released their self titled album.

I have to be honest with you..when I first listend to it, I didn't feel like it was Paramore and I much preferred their previous albums. It just wasn't very rock however after listening to it on repeat for several weeks, I really grew to love it and it has become one of my favourite albums.

It just has such a good feel to it! Full of happiness and fun! It's the perfect album to listen to in the summer, whilst taking a stroll in the sunshine! 

Hayley's voice is just beautiful! And suits the feel of each song. She is truly talented at writing lyrics, there is always a well thought out meaning behind each word and it just shows how much she cares about her music!

Jeremy's base skills are amazing but for me a particularly love the base in 'ain't it fun'! 

I love the added ukulele to the album in the interludes which Taylor plays, it's just so pretty and adds that little bit extra to the album.

The whole band are genius' and really think through what sound and feel they are going for.

There is one song in the album that is really important to me and my bestfriend and that song is 'daydreaming'. It just reminds me of her and how much it care about her and the dreams we have for the future and the hope that we'll be as close as we are now in the future!

So basically I think it's an amazing album! I didn't like it at first but I grew to love it!

I highly recommend!

The Pretty Reckless~Going To Hell~Review

The Pretty Reckless are one of my favourite bands but they are indeed an acquired taste, but personally I love them! They're a rock band formed in 2007 and released their first debut album 'Light Me Up'  in 2010. But recently they have released their new album 'Going To Hell'.

There is a very different feel to the music than  from the first album and I have heard very diverse opinions about it, however I really like it. Some songs our soft and sweet ans sound beautiful with Taylor's raspy voice, and others are quite heavy and powerful, but both equally as amazing.

I have to say, that to me, Taylor is a lyrical genius, the messages she puts forwards in her songs are inspiring and the way she words things, is so very, very smart. Taylor and the band get a lot of crap from the public, saying that her words are poisonous but if you really listen to some of their songs, they have a beautiful message. I also know how they get judged for the way they display their music in videos, on stage and photo shoots, but at the end of the day, it's art and no one would think twice about it if it was painted on a canvas but that is just the way people see the world I guess.

Anyways.. I love the album, and can't wait until they tour England, so I can see them, I defiantly recommend them, if you're are into rock. :)
