New Glasses!

Hiya Guys!

It's a short post today! Sorry!
I was in need of some new glasses as I had unfortunately slept on my and broke them!

So off I went to Specsavers and I found the most beautiful pair!

They are from the Gok Wan collection and were £99. They are so comfortable and didn't actually need adapting in anyway, they were a perfect fit!

I love them so much, and will be wearing them more than I need to, just because I love them so much!

So if you do wear glasses I would definitely recommend these ones!

Maybelline New York Big Eyes Volume Express-Mascara Review

Hiya guys!

So about a month back I was in need of a new mascara and I wanted to try something new so I bought Maybelline New York  Big Eyes Volume Express mascara, which was £6.99. So it was a good cheap price, which is great!

I'll be honest with you, when I first got this product I wasn't really impressed, I couldn't get my lashes the way I liked them, they just went all spider-legs and if I attempted to separate them, they just went all clumpy.

I figured out what was wrong I was using the wand incorrectly, I was putting the brush through the whole of my lash root to tip and they just weren't going the way I liked.

So I tried only applying from my mid-lash to the tip and I loved it was good but not amazing.

It made my eyelashes fuller but still a little spider-leggy but doesn't get clumpy.

However the little brush is perfect for the bottom lashes as it makes them look really long!

I would recommend this mascara, if you like having your eyelashes that way, It's a good mascara I just don't like this look on myself.
I might continue to buy this mascara as I find the mini brush really handy!

If you guys have any recommendations of mascaras do let me know!

New Start...

Hiya Guys!

So today I started my first day of college, and for all you american folks-and other places- This is different to what we call university. For you guys it is your last two years of high school just somewhere else, or maybe your school's sixth form. Okay-I'm going to stop rambling now...

So yes today I started college and honestly, yesterday I was so nervous and panicking about today.

You see, I'm really not good and making friends and talking to new people, I'm just really shy and because I'm so quiet, I think people find it awkward to be around me, or might think that I'm being a bitch for some reason.(I don't know why being quiet makes you a bitch-but I've been called it for that reason.)

It turned out that all that worrying was for nothing!

I actually managed to talk to people and make a friend, which was cool and my tutor is lovely!

Today made me think that maybe the next two years won't be as bad as I thought and I won't be a complete loner.
However today did make me realise how hard I have to work over the next two years to get to where I want to go in life and make something of myself.

I'm looking forward to the future and I don't think it's going to be as scary as I thought.

Now the next thing I have to worry about is trying to get a job! Yay!

Also for my A-Levels I'm taking English Literature/Language, Media Studies and Drama and Theatre Studies, so if any of you have taken one of these subjects, any advice or information about how you found the course would be lovely!
