Teaching Assistant Look Book!

I am going to be doing work experience at a secondary school next week and I was in need of a few bits and bobs. So yesterday I went on a little shop and thought I'd share them with you, I've also put a few outfits together of how I would style them.
 Anyways do enjoy <3
*NOTE* most of the clothes in this post are from Primark, if they aren't I have stated otherwise.

 

 This blouse cost £9, for me I felt that that the material could have been of better quality. The blouse is a little low cut and if you can I'd go for a size smaller if you want to avoid this. However I do love the colour and the material is quite soft and breathable.

The trousers I'm wearing cost £8 which I think is very reasonable, the material is strong and thick, so I know that they will last me a long time, the only downside I have is that I wanted them to be skinnier around my ankles but this isn't necessarily Primark's fault as I have this difficulty everywhere.

These flats cost me £12. Now they look beautiful and the suede is very soft but be warned they will tear your feet apart! To protect my feet I either wear skin coloured socks, which are only a few pounds, they save your feet and still give off the impression of wearing nothing. Life Saver!

 

Like the other one this blouse cost me £9 but this one was a thicker and better quality I felt so I think this blouse deserved the price tag more. 

Now I already owned this blouse as it is what I wear to work  it cost me £8 which I think was a bargain. It is quite a sheer material but you can't see through it which is great, it's really cute and I just love the collars.

I am in love with this dress! It is so cute, I love the style of the cut and the collars, it is really flattering. The dress has a sort of underskirt which is good as it weighs down the dress more and if the top material does blow up in the wind, you still have that saving you from embarrassment! Another bonus the belt comes with the dress all for the total of £13!

I styled the dress with these boots that I have just been loving lately. I have been wanting some Chelsea boots for a very long time and finally found some that I loved! I got them from ebay*links at end* for £21.98 including P&P. They are so comfortable and just all in all beautiful, I'm so happy with them!

I also already had this outfit, the 'top' is actually a dress and cost £8 which I think is amazing, it is so pretty and so light which will be perfect for summer. But for now it's a little too cold to wear bare legged, so I either pair it with my disco pants or a leggings. As you can see today I chose my disco pants, which I love! They just look really good on anyone and are literally the most comfortable bottoms that I own! I also bought them from Ebay at £10.99. I also add a belt to my outfit just to give it that extra something. I've had this belt for years so I don't know where it's from or how much it cost but really any black belt would look nice.

Hello Again..

Hey Guys!

It really has been very long time! Sorry about that. I have no excuse really but my creative juices are flowing and my fingers have been itching to write. My exams have just finished and I need something to do, with my studies and work taking up so much of my time, I don't get to do much any more. This was my hobby for many months and I want to get back into it again, it has been almost a year since I started this blog and a lot has changed since then, I've changed a lot since then. So here I am writing a new blog post and I shall hopefully *fingers crossed* be posting a lot more frequently, so be sure to here from me soon.

My College Expierence+ A little bit of advice

Hiya Guys!

Yes I know that I've been away for a while..Sorry!

So as you might know by a previous post of mine I was attending college and at the time I was really excited to do so, however as the weeks went on I got less happy to be there. I honestly really didn't like school, so I couldn't wait to leave and go off to college but it really wasn't what I expected at all,

So before it was too late I decided to do something about it.

That is my first piece of advice if you are unhappy-please do something about it, it will only get worse other wise.

So when I went to the place that I wanted to transfer to, there were some difficulties, so I would advice changing a little sooner than I did, to avoid this, I left it about a month before doing so, to make your chance of transferral more likely I would ask to move sooner.

So I basically got told that it was very un-likely that I could move this late, and I was quite upset but they promised to give me a call in the morning.

So at 8:30am I was awoken by a phone call, it was the lady that spoke to the previous day, she told me that I could join but couldn't do all the subjects that I wanted but could pick it up the next year. So I went in and enrolled that wasn't easy either trying to find the right people but then it was done! And I was told to come in Monday morning! I then went and dropped out of college but they wouldn't let me go and say goodbye to my friend which I was sad about.

But the reason for this post is just to let you know that in any situation, if it's family, school, relationships, anything...If you're unhappy PLEASE do something about it before it is too late!

New Start...

Hiya Guys!

So today I started my first day of college, and for all you american folks-and other places- This is different to what we call university. For you guys it is your last two years of high school just somewhere else, or maybe your school's sixth form. Okay-I'm going to stop rambling now...

So yes today I started college and honestly, yesterday I was so nervous and panicking about today.

You see, I'm really not good and making friends and talking to new people, I'm just really shy and because I'm so quiet, I think people find it awkward to be around me, or might think that I'm being a bitch for some reason.(I don't know why being quiet makes you a bitch-but I've been called it for that reason.)

It turned out that all that worrying was for nothing!

I actually managed to talk to people and make a friend, which was cool and my tutor is lovely!

Today made me think that maybe the next two years won't be as bad as I thought and I won't be a complete loner.
However today did make me realise how hard I have to work over the next two years to get to where I want to go in life and make something of myself.

I'm looking forward to the future and I don't think it's going to be as scary as I thought.

Now the next thing I have to worry about is trying to get a job! Yay!

Also for my A-Levels I'm taking English Literature/Language, Media Studies and Drama and Theatre Studies, so if any of you have taken one of these subjects, any advice or information about how you found the course would be lovely!

Where have I been?

Hiya Guys!

I know I haven't posted much this month and I'm sorry for that! The reason being that I was in Portugal for 2 weeks! I had a lovely time exploring and just relaxing on the beach, I just thought that I would share with you some of the things I got up to and some outfits that I wore!

So I obviously went to the beach, the sand was beautiful but the sea a little on the chilly side!

I went for a drive around on the Quad bike and got to explore the surroundings of where I was staying, the view of the dam was beautiful and was one of those things that you can't pick up on camera.

On the same day I went bowling, so I knew that the night time was quite cool, I added a Plaid shirt to keep me a bit warmer. If you are wondering why I am sat on the floor in defeat... I suck at bowling! In the second game a mostly hit no pins! However the night was fun and a good laugh!

July Favourites!

Hiya Guys!

So I know I'm a little late, as we are over a week into August but I wanted to do  July Favourites blog post, but I've been really busy so it's taken me a while to get around to it! But anyway...Here we go!

The First thing I've been loving this month is this nail polish! It's by Rimmel London-Salon PRO-Colour 500-Peppermint.

I just think that it's the perfect colour for summer and goes on my nails really nice too!<3

Recently in England, we have been having a lot of warm weather so I have been wearing these shorts to death! I just love them! They make it look like you made an effort, when you just can't be bothered! Aha! Which I love!<3

 My favourite song this month is an oldish one(few years)- Sarah Smiles by Panic!At the disco. They're one of my favourite bands and I just love it, no reason in particular really..It's just a good song!<3

This month I have taken a break from Supernatural, so that my friend can catch up with me, aha! So I needed something to replace the whole in my heart.. and that was an old love of mine anime. I use to watch it a lot about a year ago and now only watch it every now and again. However I have really got back into it and am loving it! I've watched a few different ones, Vampire Knight and sequel Guilty-Amazing! It's darkish, romantic and  bit of blood! Fairy Tail- Really good, However I really don't think they need so many shots of the leads boobs and ass but whatever the show itself is awesome! But yeah, there is a few others but if any of you are anime fans let me know of some good ones to watch! I need more!<3

I love to read a lot, so this month I decided to re-read an old fave- Evermore-By Alyson Noel. Once again it's a romantic teen fiction, yes I read that kind of stuff that everyone hates, Oh well! aha! I just really love this book, its part of a series which is now finished, I recommend if you're into teen, fantasy, romance stuff, its pretty good!<3

So I spend a lot of my time on the Internet, and a large percentage of that on YouTube, and this month I have been loving watching all of Kalel's past and present channels, I've just been watching all of Kalel and Anthony's  really old vlogs and Kalel's old channel's video's and have just been really enjoying them!<3

And finally the most important one... Cadburys Buttons! Anyone who knows me, knows that I am obsessed with chocolate, not even kidding I have at least one a day, or a get shakes-don't ask, it's weird. But this month I have just been loving buttons! They're just so beautiful and I just love chocolate aha!<3

My mum she is like my best friend, we talk to each other about everything, I love her to bits!<3

The power of premonition, I'd love to be able to see into the future not only for myself but for others, it could help avoid all those bad decisions you wish you never made! <3

Cheesecake! I don't care what kind! I love em all! Nom!<3

4. Who is your celebrity icon?

She isn't really a celebrity but she is a YouTuber her name is Kalel and I just think she's such a strong passionate woman! I love her style and love how passionate she gets about things she always puts 110% into everything and I just want to be that passionate about the things that I enjoy and to put that much effort into my life and what I do!<3

5. Do you prefer Disneyland paris or america? If you haven't been to either or just one, which one would you prefer?

I've only ever been to America, I was 8 when I went so I don't remember it very well but what I can remember I loved! I would love to go again! Hopefully I will go in the next 10years!<3

6. What colour is your bedroom and do you have any posters up?

I live in a rented property so we're not allowed to decorate :( I used to have A LOT of band posters all over my room but I recently just got some new furniture and decor so I decided to take them down as they just didn't suit my room anymore!<3

7. Best and worst song? 

My Favourite song is by my favourite band My Chemical Romance and my favourite song is I'm not Ok. At least I think it is it's not their best song but I love it! Worst song, I don't really have one really, there's just songs that I don't like, mainly pop and main-stream stuff, it's just not to my taste.<3

8. What is your favourite animal?

My favourite animal always has been an elephant! I don't really know why, I've just always loved them! They're so beautiful!<3

9. What is the most expensive item of clothing in your wardrobe?

I don't really have designer clothes so I'd probably say my knee high converse, I think they were around £80, I'm not too sure though!<3

10. Best holiday you've ever been on?

Probably last year I went to Portugal to see my Grandad and it was just a lovely laid back Holiday! I'm actually flying back over there in 3 weeks! I'm so excited!<3

11. Celebrity crush?

My celebrity crush is the love of my life...Frank Iero...who was one of the guitarists in My Chemical Romance! It's a shame he is 32 and Married with 3 kids and some dogs :'( I can still dream!<3

NCS Social Action Project

 Hiya guys!

So today, I am going to be talking about something a little different. Basically I am taking part in the National Citizen Service and we are for the next two weeks doing our social action project, which is where we help out in our community.

For my teams social action project we are planning to do-up a care homes garden in our local area and chat to the residents their and just brighten up their day!

We are also looking to support Women's Aid by raising money and buying new home-wear for their refuges! We are aiming to help out women and children who have been victim to domestic violence

We are going to be raising money by doing cake sales, bag packing.
We are also holding a talent show and party fundraiser at Cape in Nottingham, 5pm-9pm, so if you live in the area please come along and help us out by donating. Entry fee is £1 and we will be selling shirts, loom bands and holding a raffle, also throwing wet sponges at our team mentors! The winner of the talent show will win a Nandos voucher!

I would really appreciate your help by sharing to make people aware of what we are trying to achieve! Also if you live in the area of Nottingham, please come to our events and make a donation! We are really trying hard to raise enough money to help out both the causes, so please help us out my sharing and spreading the word!

Prom!

Hiya guys! On Thursday I had my Prom and I honestly wasn't expecting to love it as much as I did! I thought that I'd run through my dress, hair and make-up for you! I'm going to put all of the links of products and people at the end...

First of all I got my hair done by Lucille, she was so kind, lovely and very talented! For my hair I used black human hair extensions. She first of all curled my natural hair with a curling tongs and curlers, she then sprayed my natural hair with hair spray to allow it to set.

Whilst waiting for my hair to set, she then began curling the extensions with the curling tongs. After she finished curling the extensions, she let my natural hair out of the curlers and sprayed it with more hairspray, she then blended the extensions into my natural hair, spraying the hair with hairspray as she went. Then she pinned back the front of my hair to show my ears. Finally she sprayed some shine spray, to make my hair appear shiny and healthy. I love love loved my hair so much! So thank you Lucille!

Afterwards I got my make-up done by a lady called Heather, she was also very friendly an equally as talented. I'm not going to go through what she did, and what she used because I don't actually know, however I used a pair of really pretty false eye lashes by Katy Perry-Cool Kitty. I haven't worn false eyelashes before, but they were really light and natural looking and really well made, so I defiantly

would recommend them!I really loved my make-up so thank you Heather!

Finally it was time to put on my dress! This was the part that I was most excited for! My dress was a separate skirt and corset, the only fault with the dress would be that the corset clips at the front were extremely difficult to get together, it seemed that the indents weren't deep enough, but other than that, I loved it! It was the perfect dress!

Prom was an amazing night, with amazing people! I'm so glad I went , Our prom was held at Goosedale Conference and Banqueting, it had beautiful decor and scenery, it was just a perfect night and I couldn't have been happier! So now it is a new chapter in my life and I couldn't be more excited  to start it...
