Mini make up Haul

 Hiya Guys!

So when I went shopping last week I might have picked up a few bits of make up from Superdrug that I didn't need woops! So I thought I'd share them with you!

£3.99
This is a blonde eye gel from Rimmel London, as I've been gradually going blonder I've been finding it very difficult to find the right shade, so I thought I'd give this a shot. It doesn't seem to dark, however as it is a gel it is quite thick so I know that it will probably be darker than this.

£2.50
Next I picked up this MUA eye-shadow trio, now at the store they had no tester, so I couldn't feel it. From looking at it, I expected it to be creamy, which is what I was after but when I got home, to my disappointment it is  not creamy, it's just regular powdered eye-shadow, but the colours are really pretty so I'm not going to give up on it just yet.

£3.99
This is the Rimmel London Eyeliner Exaggerate Smoke'n Shine Black Smokey, sometimes I want a softer make up look but I feel I still need to black to make my eyes pop, so I had been using black eyeshadow but it wasn't giving me the desired effect, so I've decided to give this a go and this is the result-

I am quite happy with it and I think I'll get a better effect if I'm actually going out somewhere, as I'll put a little more effort into it.

FREE
At the moment Superdrug is doing an offer so if you spend £9+ you get the Rimmel Natural Bronzing Powder for free which I thought was a great deal so bag it while you can! Now I don't think this is an amazing bronzer but it's decent and does what it says and I'm not going to say no to something free.

£5.49
Finally I bought this Rimmel Kate Moss Lasting Finish Lipstick in the shade 210 Coral In Gold. I swatched this product at the store and thought that it was really pretty. So when I got home I tried it on, it tasted really nice and went on fairly easily, however I'm not sure whether it suites me. So I need your guys'  opinion does it suit me? Does it look nice? I'm really not sure about it!
What do you think? Yay or Nay? Please let me know in the comments!<3
Hope you enjoyed!

Teaching Assistant Look Book!

Hiya Guys!

See I told you I'd speak to you soon!
I am going to be doing work experience at a secondary school next week and I was in need of a few bits and bobs. So yesterday I went on a little shop and thought I'd share them with you, I've also put a few outfits together of how I would style them.
 Anyways do enjoy <3
*NOTE* most of the clothes in this post are from Primark, if they aren't I have stated otherwise.

This blouse cost £9, for me I felt that that the material could have been of better quality. The blouse is a little low cut and if you can I'd go for a size smaller if you want to avoid this. However I do love the colour and the material is quite soft and breathable.

The trousers I'm wearing cost £8 which I think is very reasonable, the material is strong and thick, so I know that they will last me a long time, the only downside I have is that I wanted them to be skinnier around my ankles but this isn't necessarily Primark's fault as I have this difficulty everywhere.

These flats cost me £12. Now they look beautiful and the suede is very soft but be warned they will tear your feet apart! To protect my feet I either wear skin coloured socks, which are only a few pounds, they save your feet and still give off the impression of wearing nothing. Life Saver!

Like the other one this blouse cost me £9 but this one was a thicker and better quality I felt so I think this blouse deserved the price tag more.

Now I already owned this blouse as it is what I wear to work  it cost me £8 which I think was a bargain. It is quite a sheer material but you can't see through it which is great, it's really cute and I just love the collars.

I am in love with this dress! It is so cute, I love the style of the cut and the collars, it is really flattering. The dress has a sort of underskirt which is good as it weighs down the dress more and if the top material does blow up in the wind, you still have that saving you from embarrassment! Another bonus the belt comes with the dress all for the total of £13!

I styled the dress with these boots that I have just been loving lately. I have been wanting some Chelsea boots for a very long time and finally found some that I loved! I got them from ebay*links at end* for £21.98 including P&P. They are so comfortable and just all in all beautiful, I'm so happy with them!

I also already had this outfit, the 'top' is actually a dress and cost £8 which I think is amazing, it is so pretty and so light which will be perfect for summer. But for now it's a little too cold to wear bare legged, so I either pair it with my disco pants or a leggings. As you can see today I chose my disco pants, which I love! They just look really good on anyone and are literally the most comfortable bottoms that I own! I also bought them from Ebay at £10.99. I also add a belt to my outfit just to give it that extra something. I've had this belt for years so I don't know where it's from or how much it cost but really any black belt would look nice.

So I hope you enjoyed this post and gave you some ideas if your going into teaching or something with a similar dress code!

September Faves!

Hiya Guys!

I'm back with another favourites blog! September has gone and Autumn is officially here yay!

So these are the things that I have been loving this month!

First off it this hat, I have been wearing it most days, mainly because I have bad roots..woops! But it is just so cute and makes any outfit look like you put effort in which is key when you don't have a lot of time to get ready in the morning.

From-H&M-£7.99

I have been loving these earrings this month, they are just so pretty and once again dresses up any outfit! I can't say where these are from as they were given to me but I love them a lot!

As autumn is here it is time for dark lips! I've never been one for lipstick but I am now!
This is Kate Moss in shade 107. It is such a beautiful rich colour and suits most complexions, I would say the only slight downside is that I would recommend to apply lip balm first other wise the lipstick will appear all cracky on the lips, if you know what I mean!

I have decided to delve back into the Harry Potter series so I am re-reading the books, so at the minuet I am on Philosophers Stone and am falling in love with the series all over again! Great for all ages and if you haven't read them, they're a must!

This month I have gotten into Pretty Little Liars, yes I'm aware I'm late to the party but I love it! I love the mystery and the suspense to keep you interested but you can connect to the characters of the show through the mundane problems that they face. My favourite character would have to be Aria, she is the most quirky and unique of the 4 and I LOVE her fashion and her room! Everything just looks so authentic and hand-made! So I would definitely recommend this show if you are in need of something new to watch!

And if any of you watch PLL who is your favourite character and who do you think A is? (I'm only on season 2)

Where music is concerned I have gotten back into an old fave of mine, Blink-182. There songs are
beautiful and perfect for whatever mood I'm in!

And that's it for this month!
I'll be back with another favourites next month!

Hiya Guys!

It's a short post today! Sorry!
I was in need of some new glasses as I had unfortunately slept on my and broke them!

So off I went to Specsavers and I found the most beautiful pair!

They are from the Gok Wan collection and were £99. They are so comfortable and didn't actually need adapting in anyway, they were a perfect fit!

I love them so much, and will be wearing them more than I need to, just because I love them so much!

So if you do wear glasses I would definitely recommend these ones!
